Sauna participation and inherent risks

I understand that sauna use involves exposure to elevated temperatures and may include risks such as dehydration, dizziness, fainting, burns, falls, cardiovascular stress, overheating, or other injury.

I voluntarily choose to participate and accept the risks associated with sauna use, including risks that may arise from my own actions, the actions of other guests, environmental conditions, or the use of the sauna and surrounding property.

Health and fitness to participate

I am responsible for determining whether sauna use is appropriate for me. I understand that anyone who is pregnant, has cardiovascular or respiratory conditions, experiences blood-pressure concerns, is taking medication that may affect heat tolerance, or has another relevant medical condition should consult a qualified healthcare professional before using a sauna.

I agree to leave the sauna immediately if I experience dizziness, nausea, difficulty breathing, chest discomfort, confusion, weakness, or any other concerning symptoms.

Rules and personal responsibility

I agree to follow posted sauna instructions and any directions provided by VärmHūs or campground staff. I will not use the sauna while impaired by alcohol, recreational drugs, or any substance that may impair judgment or heat tolerance.

I understand that my reservation begins and ends at the scheduled time and that I am responsible for the conduct of any minors or guests under my supervision.

Release of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, I voluntarily release and agree not to hold liable VärmHūs Sauna Co., the host campground or property owner, and their respective owners, employees, contractors, agents, and affiliates for claims arising from my voluntary participation in the sauna experience, except where such a release is prohibited by law.

I understand that this acknowledgment does not waive rights that cannot legally be waived.
